Bull Creek Foundation, an all-volunteer affiliate of the Austin Parks Foundation, has a number of principal projects in the Bull Creek watershed, which are:

  • The Bull Creek Water Quality Protection Lands (Stenis) Tract - a 60 acre tract maintained the Austin Water Utility, we are working to build a 1.5 mile hike and bike trail in 2006-07. volunteer help needed: Upcoming workdays are Dec 9th, and Jan 13th - all workdays are Saturdays and we work from 9 am to 1 pm - Volunteer workday details are here..   • The Bull Creek Greenbelt Trail - a 3.5 mile hike and bike trail, which was built and is maintained by all volunteers.


  • The Bull Creek District Park - at the southern end of the Bull Creek Greenbelt Trail, which has restrooms, picnic areas, swimming areas and an off-leash dog area. volunteer help needed: Watering assistance needed at Bull Creek District Park for both garden beds and general "grass" areas. Hoses and Sprinklers located in the fenced garden area immediately to the right of the restroom building. Faucet hook-up is located under the sink in the men's room.
